The Samsung Unpacked 5 event will be taking place on February 24th. And while that date is quickly approaching, we are beginning to see an uptick in rumors dealing with the Galaxy S5. There were a few reports from last week and it looks like this week has begun with some leaked benchmarks.

Specifically, we are seeing benchmarks from AnTuTu for what is believed to be a pair of Galaxy S5 variants. The devices are sporting model numbers of SM-G900R4 and SM-G900H. The interesting part here, these are both showing a fairly unique set of specs. Both devices are shown to be running Android 4.4.2.

Looking first at the SM-G900R4 and we are seeing a handset with a display resolution of 2560 x 1440. Other pieces for this model include a Snapdragon 800 (MSM8974AC) processor with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The remaining items mentioned for this model include an Adreno 330 GPU, 2.1 megapixel front-facing camera and 16 megapixel rear-facing camera.

Shifting over to the other model and we find one sporting a 1920 x 1080 display resolution. This model, the SM-G900H, is showing an octa-core Exynos 5422 processor with 2GB of RAM, ARM Mali T628 graphics and 16GB of storage space. Also included was mention of a 2.1 megapixel front-facing camera and 16 megapixel rear-facing camera.

Seeing Samsung use different processors based on the market isn’t anything unique. But seeing these devices with differences for the RAM, storage, and display resolution is a bit more surprising. Of course, that brings the end point here, these types of leaked benchmarks should always be treated as rumor.
