The new Galaxy On phones for 2016 may be arriving soon as the On5 and On7 were recently sighted on TENAA. As you know, any visit to the Chinese FCC means the devices will be announced soon and that they only need some certification from the authorities. No confirmation yet by the South Korean tech giant but such sightings at TENAA always turn out to be the real thing.

A Galaxy On7 was benchmarked recently on Geekbench while the On5 Pro and On7 Pro were launched through Amazon India last month. We’re looking at the basic On5 and On7 only with souped down specs and features compared to the Pro variants.

So far, here’s what we know about the new Samsung Galaxy On5: SM-G5700 model will have 5-inch HD display, octa-core chipset, 32GB built-in storage, 3GB RAM, 13MP and 8MP cameras, 2600mAh battery, and of course, Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow already out of the box. As for the Samsung Galaxy On7 , phone model SM-G6100 will be equipped with a 5.5-inch Full HD screen, octa-core processor, same 13MP/8MP camera system, 3300mAh battery, and the same Android Marshmallow OS.

As usual, the design and build of the Samsung Galaxy On5 and On7 will be almost the same. You may not even see the difference if you don’t look closely or if you really know nothing about the two.
