Today we’ve received a few different leaks regarding upcoming products from the folks at Samsung. Earlier today Samsung themselves accidentally revealed the upcoming GALAXY S 4 Mini, and now we’re getting our first look at the Amber Brown edition of their Note 8.0 tablet. Samsung’s slowly been adding more colors to all their devices, and this looks to be the next in line.

Last week while announcing the GALAXY S 4 has already sold over 10 million units, they also confirmed a few new colors for the smartphone, including Amber Brown. And now it appears they’ll be offering at least one more color for their Note 8.0 as well.

Renowned and popular leakster @evleaks revealed the new version this weekend, as well as a Pink Note 8.0 tablet, but that’s all we know at this point. The companies new mid-range tablet complete with their popular S-Pen stylus will be getting a colorful refresh. We can also assume a slew of accessories will also match the new color, but Samsung hasn’t revealed any details.

Earlier this month there was a rumor about a “brown black” Note 8.0, so this could be what that rumor was referring to. The slate comes in a sleek all plastic design, similar to the Galaxy S 4, and eventually we’ll get more colors, basically. Samsung hasn’t announced anything officially, so we’ll update when we hear more.

In the meantime check out our Galaxy Note 8.0 Review and let us know if you bought one in the comments below.

  1. The great facility is of Kindle reader is the inbuilt dictionary. It makes your reading experience wonderful. When you select a word, its meaning appears on the spot!! If android provides such an inbuilt facility,it would have been fantastic.Heard that it is there in iOS.

  2. What the Galaxy note 8.0 needs is a major spec bump not just a color change. The tablet is already the most Functional known to man but it needs the latest and greatest specs to match the functionality

  3. Samsung, create a Galaxy Note 8 using the form factor closer to 2012’s Galaxy Tab 7.7, while still avoiding lawsuits. Offer it in a black model and a white model. Keep the price at $350-400 and it will fly off the shelves.

    This is just diddling.

      • Those price points ensure crappy hardware.

I’d rather see something with the specs of the S4 (including a top notch display, camera, and full telephony radios) along with an S800 CPU (newly rumored to be making an appearance later this year in an S4 ‘Advanced’ version).

Would we need to pay more for quality hardware? Of course. Nothing is free.

Flagship smartphones and tablets are simply miniaturized PCs – and miniaturization costs a premium. Its just that the telecoms have hoodwinked people into thinking that a $1000 miniaturized PC can cost ‘only’ $200. They hide the other $800 in cost in their inflated contract fees.

If you buy $300 PCs then maybe a $350 tablet is about right for you.

If you buy $1000+ PCs then you should expect to pay more for a tablet that is a miniaturized version that can do everything your PC can. Watch the Samsung ATIV Q give the Surface Pro a run for its money in the low end of that market.

  4. galaxy note 8.0 don’t have flash camera. i was disappointed 🙁
Maybe anybody disappointed too because the flash camera. I will pay more if galaxy note 8.0 have flash camera..

  5. “Galaxy Note 8 does not have a flash camera”…pleeeease remove all the cameras from the tablets and make them cheaper….taking photos with a tablet…isn’t that like taking photos with an Ultrabook? Wanna have great pictures? buy a Camera, the Nikon D3100 is WAY BETTER than any smartphone, even the Xperia Z and Galaxy S4 cameras are years behind the D3100…Brown Black…yes I would definitely buy that
