More early sightings of the upcoming Galaxy Note 7 are to be expected to appear in the coming weeks leading to the August launch. We’re still not sure about the exact date of unveiling but we can feel it’s happening soon. After the Note 7 running Android 6.1, the renders, and front panel leaked last week, we’ve got information that there will be a Verizon model based on a recent Geekbench document.

It says on Geekbench a ‘Samsung SM-N930V’ device. The SM-N930 is very close to the SM-N930F we saw last week on the official Samsung website. The ‘V’ could refer to Verizon which is expected to carry the smartphone as always. When a device pops up on Geekbench, that means we’re usually a few weeks aways from the official launch.

You see, the Galaxy Note 7 is highly anticipated now because Samsung skipped the number ‘6’ and this might be the first year that there’s no flat variant of the new Note. The Geekbench leak suggests the SM-N930V is the Verizon model. If you may remember, same time last year, models SM-N920 and SM-N925 were sighted which turned out to be the Galaxy Note 5 and S6 edge+.

Details are still few but listed there are the 1.59GHz Qualcomm quad-core processor, 4GB RAM, and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. We’re still expecting a 6GB variant since this phone is only listed with 4GB.
