Samsung confirmed the US release details for the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition tablet back in September, and as we were expecting to happen, said tablet is available for purchase as of today. This is the WiFi only model and while it is expected with a wide variety of retailers, we have already begun to see some listings on Amazon and Best Buy.

With that in mind, the tablet is $549.99 for the 16GB model and $599.99 for the 32GB model. Those considering a purchase will be able to choose between black or white with the 32GB model and the 16GB model is available only in white. Regardless of the color, the remaining specs will be the same across the board. That is to say the tablet has a 10.1-inch display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 and powered by a quad-core Exynos 5240 processor with 3GB of RAM.

Of course, as this is a Note branded device that means the S Pen will be included. Along with the physical stylus, users can also expect the software perks that come along with. On these latest Note devices, those include goodies such as Air Command, Action Memo, Scrapbooker, Screen Write, S Finder and Pen Window.

The tablet will be running Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and the remaining specs will include a microSD card slot, 2 megapixel front-facing camera and 8 megapixel rear-facing camera with auto-focus and LED flash. Otherwise, as we have seen several complaints in the past, the Galaxy Note 10.1 tablets are certainly not the lowest price.

Perhaps in an effort to make that seem a little more attractive to potential buyers, Samsung does have the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition as being included in the Galaxy Perks program. This means bonus items such as three months of Hulu and SiriusXM, one year for free Boingo Hotspot access and 50GB of free Dropbox storage for two years.
