Samsung Bringing Back Sliders with Leaked Android QWERTY for Sprint

Remember sliders – what seemed to be the thing of the early 2000′s before smartphones came mainstream and pushed them into the history books? Well, it looks like Samsung is readying the release of a new Android-based QWERTY slider for Sprint as some images of the device have hit the web.

Obviously taking some design elements from a BlackBerry, this new device will be powered by Android rather than the former standard Windows Mobile. No word as to when the device will be made available but expect some sort of release (although probably not big) at the Sprint event on February 7th or MWC in a couple of weeks. We’ll be live at both of them – so stay tuned!

Are you saying that slides instead of being a non-movable candy bar?
