No more rumors and no more waiting as Samsung officially announced that it’s really launching a pink version of the newest premium flagship smartphones. The Galaxy S7 and S7 edge Pink Gold edition will soon be available for purchase but only in select key markets. Much like the HTC 10 red camellia version only coming to Japan via KDDI, there is a possibility that the pink Galaxy S7/S7 edge will be out only in some countries. We’re also guessing Japan since the ladies there like pink Sakura-inspired phones.

The Pink Gold editions will be ready first in South Korea. It’s actually available beginning today from Samsung and some mobile carriers. The flagship phones are suddenly prettier in pink. The idea is for this particular color to bring a sense of comfort according to the company. The pink smartphone exudes a sense of sophistication and luxury. There’s some hint of prestige, radiance, and gentleness that the ladies love.

You can say this pink version is targeted for the stylish and classy geeks (albeit a rare breed). Ask any lady who’s been thinking of getting a Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 edge, she’d probably want the pink version.

No information which mobile carrier will have the pink Galaxy S7 and sell it first but we’re glad there’s another color option available. And oh, can we request for a blue one now, Samsung?
