Last week US Cellular announced the not only will they be carrying the HTC Desire but will offer a Samsung Android as well. At the time there was no picture of the device only a few specs. These specs included a full QWERTY keyboard, Android 2.1 and a 3.2-inch HGVA screen. Well, this phone looks like it has most of those requirements.

This picture was leaked to Engadget, since then there have been many different sites that claim to have confirmation that this is indeed the real thing. As much as I would like to give it that label, I can’t just yet. It does appear to be the real thing but we’ve seen some wonderful Photoshop jobs done in the past.

If this is the Acclaim it’s a sleek and sexy device. The front of the phone looks futuristic, it has a combination of soft and hard keys and appears to be sporting an optical tracpad. The keyboard doesn’t look all that great though but it will get the job done. All we need now is a release date, price and confirmation for US Cellular that this is the Acclaim.
