Runtastic Libra now has Android support

March 19, 2015

Watching your weight is now not just for the weight conscious or models or beauty queens. A lot of people have been eating healthy, doing fitness activities, and of course checking the ups and downs of their weight, all in the name of healthy living. Runtastic Libra is a terrific way of weighing yourself because it can "speak" to your smartphone. Finally, the scale has Android support through an app that will help you monitor and manage not just your weight but your health as well.

The Runtastic Libra app is integrated with the smart weighing scale and is in turn integrated into your whole Runtastic account. Everytime you weigh in, the information will be stored and sent to your user profile so you can see whether or not there have been improvements. The app will also help you look at not just your weight but other body metrics like body fat, bone mass, muscle mass, body water content, etc. It will also help you calculate the calories you are allowed to intake, depending on how active you are, as well as your personal stats.

You can define and set your weight and fitness goals, like weight gain, weight loss, or getting rid of excess body fat. The app, together with the whole Runtastic system will try and help you achieve that goal. If you're using MyFitnessPal, you can also integrate it with the app and sync your weight to your account.

Having all these apps and wearables makes managing your weight and your healthy lifestyle a bit easier. The hard work is still in the activities, the diet, the program, etc. The app is just there to help guide you along the way. You can download Runtastic Libra for free from the Google Play Store.
