Running Windows Phone 7 Surfaces on the HD2

So there’s been Android 2.2 Froyo running on the HTC HD2, an HTC Desire HD ROM ported to the HD2, and now it’s looking pretty legit that some folks in China have got Windows Phone 7 running on there too! What a versatile little bugger that HD2 is. Take a look at videos of the magic courtesy of XDA forum member Samsunguy – what a nice dude!

Not only do these videos show booting up, they show what appears to be full functionality as well. This would be a lovely port indeed if it ends up being a true deal. All anyone seems to know at the moment is that the screen and the phone module seems to work, nothing on the rest of the functionality of the phone (GPS, BT, Wifi, and etcetera.) Details on how long it’s going to take for YOU to get this situation handled right into your HD2 are yet unknown.

And if that wasn’t enough, here’s another.
