ROM Kitchen Allows Customizable ROMs for Galaxy S and Captivate

One of the best features of the Android platform is its ability to be rooted and utilize ROMs. However, getting that perfect ROM may be troublesome for many. Worry no more, XDA members DocRambone and Stefunel have put together RomKitchen which will allow you to select your own resources resulting in a custom ROM.

It’s actually a website that will allow you to create a menu, of sorts. You can choose exactly what you want in your ROM and just like that the software will create it and provide both a link for download and a QR code to share with friends.

Be careful though, as this still involves rooting which may not be for the novice user. However, if you’re familar with ROMs, definitely give RomKitchen a try.

You can bake your own custom rom at RomKitchen.org.
