If you’ve been enjoying the first four chapters of the tech paranoia game Republique, then you were probably looking forward to the release of the fifth and final chapter that will bring to a close the story that you’ve been participating in. It is most likely with mixed feelings that you will now play Terminus, which is now available in an update to the game app on Google Play Store. But the good news is that you’ll also now be able to look back on the past chapters you’ve played.

You’ve see the evolution of the game though the first four updates, as our protagonist Hope, who is trapped in a totalitarian state, needs your help to escape the government. The One Touch stealth action gameplay continues in this new addition to the story, but this time, you now have the option to either choose the path for her or let her choose her own destiny. You also now have to contend against hostile cameras which will tell the authorities when Hope is spotted by any of them.

Because you’re also nearing the end of the story, there is now a feature called Metamorphosis where you can go back to any of the areas that you visited in the previous episodes where you can make new tools, defeat new enemies, create new alliances, and basically recreate the story if it’s not going according to your original plan.

You can purchase the new and last chapter of Republique through an in-app purchase worth $4.99. Each of the chapters is at the same price, so if you haven’t tried the game yet, you can already catch up and finish the entire game.
