When you’re looking for a good RSS reader for your smartphone, you’re probably not going for something that has a lot of bells and whistles but something that will let you catch up with your unread posts in the simplest of manners. If that is what you’re looking for, then you can try out Quote, an app that is from the same creator of the Twitter client Fenix. It has been created to support Feedly and Inoreader accounts so if you’re using either of them, then this can be a good app for you.

The Quote RSS client has a clean and modern look and lets you read full screen without other distractions on the screen. There are of course various customization options so you can choose the fonts, space between lines (leading), alignment, dark and light themes, etc. You can also share, favorite, copy links, and these features are found on the bottom navigation bar so as not to disturb your reading experience.

You can actually also use gestures for reading, navigation, sharing, and copying. For example, swipe left to close the current screen or swipe right to mark an article as read. Single tap to put it on fullscreen mode, and then double tap to activate readability mode. Just long press a link to share, copy, or open it in a browser. And if you want to save some articles for offline reading, you can do so as well through article and image caching.

You can download Quote from the Google Play Store for free. If you want ad-free browsing, multiple account logins, and more theme options, you can upgrade through an in-app purchase.
