Pushbullet, the cross platform notification powerhouse, just got a lot better. The app/Chrome extension now has a channel on IFTT for all your notification needs. Pushbullet has also gone ahead and created few recipes to get you started, if you’re so inclined.

If you’re not familiar with IFTT, then we will tell you all about it. Well, we just did with that last sentence, really. IFTT stands for “if this, then that”, and allows you to set things in motion based on actions. If you want an email update every time your team wins a game, you can do that via IFTT. If you would like to set a reminder to sell stock if it dips below a threshold you’re not comfortable with, no problem — use IFTT.

Pushbullet and IFTT have a few dozen recipes to get you started, but they just might be enough to keep you happy. They’ve covered a lot of bases, and have a lot of popular sites and services listed. Pushbullet is a great one-stop shop for notifications anyway, and including IFTT into the mix just makes it that much better.

The Pushbullet channel on IFTT is really robust, so we suggest you check it out. If you don’t already use IFTT, we suggest you give it a shot as well. Easy to create and manage notifications about anything you like, set to push via desktop or mobile. We’ll take that.
