If you’ve always wanted to become a DJ or even just to mix songs but you’ve never had the equipment or even the inclination to actually study (you just think DJs seem so cool), then apps are the nearest you can get to your “dream”. One new app that maybe you’d like to try out is called Splice, and it’s now available for Android devices everywhere. It actually functions as a music player primarily, but with the added bonus of the ability to auto remix your favorite songs.

You don’t even need to have a musical background to be able to remix songs on the app. You just upload the song, choose the mix mode and how much of the song do you want to have mixed, and then the app will do it for you. And if it you think it’s that good, you can share it with your friends in your next party and they will think you’re a remix genius. You can even do it for more than one song. Create a Splycelist (that’s a Splyce playlist in case you didn’t get it), make your mixing settings, and you’re good to go.

Aside from these splycing and mixing features, you can also use the app as a normal music player, in case you’re not happy with your smartphone’s default music player. If you work out or exercise, you can also make playlists that will follow the rhythm of your workout or vice versa. The app has 3 mixing modes, 6 transition modes between songs and for the visual design, it also has 10 different color themes as well as light effects that can be synchronized with the beats.

You can download Splyce from the Google Play Store for free. There are also several in-app upgrades, with each tier bringing more features. You have Fancier, Pro, and Premium upgrades. And if you want everything with just one purchase, you can get the Full Experience Upgrade.
