Today Plantronics has announced their newest Bluetooth mobile headset, the Marque M155. This is their smallest and lightest headset yet and plans to be your on-the-go best friend for mobile. Being one of the smartest headsets around it will allow users to talk and listen while continuing to tap, text, and swipe away on their Android-powered smartphones. You can find more details and some photos after the break.
The Marque M155 is Plantronics smallest headset ever. It offers exceptional sound quality (and blocking) while remaining extremely small and lightweight. The M155 weighs in at just 7 grams, it actually weighs less than most pens and pencils, making it feel almost as if you have nothing attached to your ear at all. Plus it's so small you'll probably forget you're wearing it to begin with.
The Marque M155 also features voice guided pairing and setup with your favorite Android smartphones all hands-free. We also have stereo Bluetooth (A2DP standard), which allows you to listen to music, GPS directions or your email all with the headset. Plantronics has also gone one step further and integrated Vocalyst support. Vocalyst will act as your own personal assistant thanks to the Marque headset. You can send email or text messages, post to Facebook and Twitter, or check the weather— all completely and easily hands-free. To answer a phone call there is no button on the headset needing to be pressed, just simple say "answer" and it does the rest. I use Google Voice services a lot to send text messages and update my twitter, but if I could do it all hands-free that would be awesome. I'm excited to give this Plantronics headset a try on my Android smartphone.
The Marque M155 will be available in both Jet Black, and Artic White and will start at just $59.99. Pre-orders start today, September 29th, at Amazon.com and Plantronics.com and many other carriers and wireless stores available nationwide.
