Phonejoy Hub for Android

All in one. That’s what the Phonejoy Hub is all about. The Kickstarter project aims to bring a simple mobile solution to those who use their smartphones in many of their activities from work to school to leisure and play. You may have your laptop, desktop computer, mobile phone, or even a handheld gaming device with you all the time but don’t you just sometimes wish you could use one for all?

The smartphone is one device that can be almost anything to anyone. It can be a computer, a gaming device, a communication tool, and more. It’s very handy making it ideal for the busy people on the go. However, smartphone functionality even those with the most useful apps are limited. Enters a new concept known as the Phonejoy Hub that includes a Cradle, a Keyboard, and Software to provide a truly mobile and intuitive experience.

Is it Post-PC Era yet? I’m not sure but there are people pushing for smartphones to be “The Gadget” but I think it won’t be any time soon. There are still a lot of limits but the Phonejoy Solutions team knows it can be done with their product.

The startup describes the Phonejoy as a set of accessories that allows you to make the most of your smartphone. No need to bring all your gadgets when you can just use your phone for almost all your tasks. Well, of course, you still need to be the cradle and keyboard with you too.

All you need to need is install the Phonejoy Hub app. If you need to use phone as computer, connect it to the cradle and monitor and use the keyboard. If you want to play games, connect the cradle to a monitor or TV. The cradle is a special docking station that offers HDMI connectivity and even allows ultra-fast charging for your smartphone. The keyboard features Android hotkeys, an integrated headset, plus a large touchpad.

Fund goal is $150,000 with an April 19, 2015 deadline. The Kickstarter project was launched a few days ago and as of this writing, only 15 backers have donated a combined a $1,446. Feel free to send your support over at Phonejoy Hub’s Kickstarter page if you think this one deserves to become a real product.

  1. I believe big guys like Samsung or Sony don’t make this kind of solution cause it’s obviously contrary to their sales targets. Let’s hope the small startup will manage to launch this project. Good luck guys!

  2. I’m sure we will have one device for everything sooner or later. Maybe sooner if they manage to get 150k. I’ve pledged 100
