The Parrot AR.Drone 2.0 is quite the fun little mobile-device friendly flying quadricopter, and it’s about to get even better. With summer flying by the folks from Parrot have decided to up their game and release an all-new AR.Drone 2.0 “Power Edition” with new colors, longer flight times, and some customization for those looking to have a little fun.

In case you missed some of our previous coverage, the AR.Drone 2.0 is pretty awesome, and works exceptionally well with the NVIDIA SHIELD. Our only complaint was the flight times, for the most part, and the app could use some work. Well in July they updated with an all new app, and this month we’re getting bigger battery options and more.

Today Parrot has announced the new Power Edition of the Drone 2.0 comes with a new super thin and sleek piano black hull, and the blades come in four unique colors if you’d like to spruce up your ride. That isn’t all either. It now comes with two extended capacity 1,500 mAh batteries for over 35 minutes of flight, instead of just one offering about 12-15 minutes like before. Here’s a look at the original in action.

The new Power Edition does come at a price increase, considering you’ll have more color options, a sleeker device, and two batteries in the box instead of one. The price has increased to $369.99 USD, and it’s reportedly going to be available from Brookstone and other retailers.
