Looking for something a little more low-key after you blast your way through Shadowgun? One of the strangest and most-loved portable titles in recent years is coming to the Android Market, and if you're a fan of either puzzle games or role playing games, you owe it to yourself to check it out. Puzzle Quest 2, originally released on the Nintendo DS last year, combines a meandering swords and sorcery story with, well, puzzles. Google just made the classic console emulator crowd very, very happy. While digging around in the recently-released Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich SDK, some industrious developers discovered support for direct input game controllers via USB. That means your next Android smartphone or tablet (or even your current one, given a timely update) might be able to support PC or Xbox 360 controllers for your favorite games.

If you haven't seen this game you'll want to keep reading and check out our full review and video below. ShadowGun by the popular developers MadFinger Games have just announced the game will officially be available for Android next week on October 26th. ShadowGun for now, will be a NVIDIA Tegra 2 device exclusive on Android and available in the Tegra Zone, with a regular version coming soon. I've played this awesome 3rd person shooter on my tablet and can say with confidence this is one amazing game for a mobile device.

Console sleeper hit No More Heroes coming to Android
As smartphones get more and more powerful, it's genuinely amazing the kind of visuals and game play they can pump out. Last week we reviewed SHADOWGUN, this morning it broke that Riptide GP is coming soon, and now we have news of Suda 51's inventive console game No More Heroes will be getting an Android version. The original will be altered into what the developer calls a "social assassination battle" game. Whatever that means.

Shadowgun by Madfinger games has been mentioned a few times here before. We even saw a demo of the game by Nvidia but it was merely just the character on screen walking around and teasing us with some amazing visuals. Today DroidGamers has some much better footage with shooting and an actual real gameplay hands-on coming out of E3.

Will TI be the chipmaker of choice for Android Ice Cream Sandwich?
There have already been many announcements coming out of Computex 2011 so far this week. We have seen some cool demos of the powerful upcoming Kal-El platform running very cool looking upcoming games at the show. While NVIDIA is showing off its wares, we have yet to hear anything from TI. A new rumor is surfacing that TI might well be the preferred chipmaker for the next version of Android beyond Honeycomb called Ice Cream Sandwich.

Behold the next game NVIDIA is showing off to display the power of quad-core, NVIDIA's next project Kal-El, the name of the case. This is a game presented also by the developers Madfinger Games, makers of Samurai II: Vengeance. This newest game is a shooter game of some note, some fantastic blasting out the faces of all enemies with four cores of CPU, 12 cores of GPU, and you can tell em Superman sent ya. Also NOTE: we saw this game in press-release style (without video) on May 26th - now we can see the full bigtime blast.
