Moto X makes public debut courtesy of Google’s Eric Schmidt

As if there hadn't been enough hype surrounding the Moto X, it looks like we now have a true in-the-wild sighting. Though, given the circumstances this one can hardly be considered a leak. Instead what we have is Google's Eric Schmidt simply using the handset. These images come by way of the annual Allen & Co. conference and as you will see throughout this post -- are showing the Moto X in white.

Sony Xperia ZL Review

Android Key Lime Pie slated for October release according to insider

Today some interesting rumors have started making the rounds regarding the next version of Android. Google I/O came and went without an announcement of a new and improved OS, and that rumored June 10th Android 4.3 Jelly Bean reveal never happened. So now we're all left wondering what is next, and when. While we still expect Android 4.3 Jelly Bean to arrive soon, new sources claim Android 5.0 KLP will debut in early October.

LG Optimus L7 II teased with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean on board

Back in Spain during the Mobile World Congress event the folks from LG had quite a bit of smartphones to announce. One of many was their new Optimus L7 II mid-range handset. We know the device is coming, and we also know that Android 4.3 Jelly Bean should be coming soon, but maybe they know something we don't. Today LG's website has the device listed with Google's latest OS update on board, but it could just be a mistake.

White Nexus 4 arrives in the Google Play Store

T-Mobile announced the immediate availability of the White Nexus 4 earlier this morning and it looks like the handset has also arrived in the Google Play Store. The Play Store listing has the handset available in an 8GB and 16GB model and they are priced at $299 and $349 respectively. Or perhaps more important for those who have already made up their minds and are ready to move forward with a purchase -- they are shown as being in stock and shipping in 1 to 2 business days.

White Nexus 4 officially arrives with T-Mobile

Putting an end to what seemed to have become an endless stream of rumors and leaks, LG announced the white Nexus 4 earlier in the week. The global rollout was expected to take several weeks, however it looks like the handset has since come available for those in the US market. T-Mobile has announced the immediate availability, though they have made it clear this handset will only be available for a limited time.
