Samsung Galaxy S II will not be offered by Verizon Wireless?

This is a bit depressing, in some sad news new details are coming out regarding the upcoming launch of the Samsung Galaxy S II smartphone. With the official US launch on the 29th new details are claiming that the biggest carrier here in the US, Verizon Wireless, will in fact NOT be carrying the Galaxy S II phone at all. This is according to the Wall Street Journal and then confirmed by Verizon spokesperson Brenda Raney.

HTC Bliss Spotted in the Wild

The HTC Bliss has been spotted in the wild. This is that HTC device we first reported about being made specifically for women and lately it has been receiving a little attention. We have seen it a few times over the past few weeks and just last week it cleared the FCC. Now the device is out in the wild and most likely will be released sooner than later.

HTC Vigor Details and Picture Appear on Dutch Website

We might have seen our first look at the upcoming HTC Vigor late last night thanks to a Dutch Phone site that posted it up, but it was quickly removed. Seen in the picture below this could very easily be a fake photo but it does look very similar to the Sensation or the popular HTC Thunderbolt that the Vigor is said to be replacing over at Verizon Wireless.

HTC Bliss Crosses FCC on its Way to Verizon

HTC's rumored "gender specific" phone, the HTC Bliss just got FCC approval. The smartphone for women is on its way to Verizon (according to its radio bands). The Bliss was recently mentioned in a leaked Verizon roadmap, and with FCC approval it can't be too far off.

HTC will be making a “Major Announcement” Tomorrow Morning

HTC just sent over a little tip warning us that they have a major announcement they plan to reveal early tomorrow morning, That is August 11th. CEO Peter Chou will be conducting a teleconference in Los Angeles, and that's about all we know. This comes as a surprise because we haven't heard anything as of late or seen anything large leaked that may be announced tomorrow but we have a few ideas running around up stairs.

AT&T Confirms no LTE Smartphones until late 2011

I wouldn't really call this a huge surprise considering we still haven't heard much from AT&T regarding their 4G LTE networks, and they are just barely starting to get off the ground. Today at a tech conference AT&T's senior vice president of mobility and consumer markets, Peter Ritcher, said that the company will not have a 4G LTE enabled smartphone until very late into 2011.

Motorola DROID Bionic Clears the FCC, Confirms 4.3″ Screen and Shows Plenty of Pictures

We continue to get more and more looks of the upcoming Droid Bionic and today we get even more with the official FCC filing for the Motorola superphone. We saw leaked pictures a few days ago suggesting a 4.5" screen but according to the official FCC paperwork you'll be streaming Netflix on the 4.3" qHD display so that should wrap up that rumor.

I feel like we've been beating this entire story and name with a stick, but the Droid Bionic is at it again with an entire gallery of leaked photos giving us a much better look at that pretty front bezel and the rest of the device at the same time. A few photos leaked yesterday but today the gallery is much larger. Latest reports are also suggesting this bad boy will have a 4.5" screen rather than 4.3" like originally suggested but we've known that for a while.

Motorola Droid Bionic Pictures Leak Again, Looking Good On Camera

Some brand new photos of the Motorola Droid Bionic were leaked today and we are finally seeing real images of the rear of the device rather than just leaked renders or press shots. Recently Amazon gave us some good views but these shots are hands-on images. Now we get to see what some of you may actually be buying in another month or so.

You guys might want to sit down if you're reading this, or at least go grab a towel. Apparently someone leaked a HUGE list of all the goodies and upcoming products for Verizon and most likely a few heads will be rolling for this one. This includes some serious details such as the HTC Thunderbolt replacement, a new Galaxy Tab, the Samsung Stratosphere, other 2.3 devices and more. We even get the release/launch dates too, awesome!
