For serious gamers, a game that will combine dungeon crawling, card collecting/battling and RPG in one package is probably a dream come true. One new title available on Android devices called Outcast Odyssey does just that. It is based on the real-life card-battling game, but now adapted in mobile gaming format. It lets those who’ve played the game before experience it on a whole new level and can also bring in new fans who’ve never tried this kind of game before.

The adventure game is set in a world where monsters, magics and machines rule. As you explore the different landscapes, you’ll unearth different monsters, treasures and jackpot treasure chests that will allow you to enhance and evolve your cards. You can play the game as a single player or play against others in a Player vs Player (PVP) multi-player mode. You can also join a guild so you can battle together with a team against other guilds, depending on each other for survival.

The cards are designed by such artists like Chuck Pires and Warren Luow, who are well-known names in the gaming world. The app also uses particle and parallax effects so that your cards don’t look just like ordinary items but works of art (that can kill). You can also compete with other Outcasts from around the world, and if you are highly rated, you’ll receive some prizes, which they give out on a weekly basis.

Outcast Odyssey is free to download from the Google Play Store. However, there are some in-app purcahse options available, some for as much as $99.99, so better disable that in your settings if you don’t want to be surprised when your credit card bill comes in.
