OPPO is still busy with spreading the good news about its Project Spectrum. We were first introduced to the platform November last year but looks like the Chinese OEM is ready to roll out this stock Android with some OPPO software. This isn’t the final and commercial version yet, just the V1.0 Beta that is already based on Android Marshmallow.

This Project Spectrum is ready for the new OPPO R7s. We don’t know how many R7s owners are out there but you’ll be happy to know that the particular device model can be updated with new features like screen-off gestures, ColorOS Camera, ColorOS Photos, selected wallpapers, OTA package support, and the VOOC Flash Charge. The ColorOS Camera includes special plugins from Filters to Panorama to Beautify, GIF, Expert Mode, Double exposure, and HDR.

Since this one is based on Android Marshmallow, you can also expect to enjoy the standard 6.0 features and improvements like Now On Tap, Doze Mode, and the new launcher. To review, the OPPO R7s features a big 3070mAh battery, VOOC Flash Charge, 5.5-inch arc edge screen, Qualcomm S615 MSM8939 Octa-core processor, 4GB RAM, ultra narrow 2.2mm screen bezel, 13MP rear-facing camera, 8MP selfie shooter, 4G/LTE connectivity, and dual SIM support.
