As we had been expecting, OPPO has released the N1 smartphone for those in the US and Europe. The handset is available in white and there is an option for either 16GB or 32GB of internal storage space. The OPPO N1 is priced at $599 (16GB) or $649 (32GB) and sporting the key features touted by OPPO including the rotating 13 megapixel camera, O-Touch Panel and O-Click Control fob.

First things first. This model of the N1 is running Color OS from OPPO, which is based on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. The handset will allow users to easily flash CyanogenMod, however this variant is not the limited CyanogenMod edition. That particular model is still listed as coming soon with no firm release date mentioned.

As for the camera, as mentioned, that is a 13 megapixel and able to rotate. The camera module can rotate 206 degrees which makes it able to serve as both the front- and rear-facing. Some of the other specifics for the camera include a CMOS sensor with type 1/3.06 imaging module and f/2.0 wide aperture. There is also a dual flash design which includes a normal flash as well as a diffused softer light.

The O-Touch Panel is as the name suggests — a touch panel. This is located on the rear of the phone, measures in at 12cm and allows the user to navigate around as well as snap pictures. Basically, this removes some of the need to navigate around using the display. The O-Click Control fob is will attach to your keychain and will work up to 15 meters away from the phone. This works over Bluetooth LE (Low Energy) and serves as an alarm should you leave your phone behind as well as a way to remotely take a picture.

Otherwise, the OPPO N1 feature set includes a 5.9-inch 1080p (377 ppi) display and quad-core 1.7GHz Snapdragon 600 processor with 2GB of RAM. There is also WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS and a 3160 mAh battery. And lastly, as for connectivity, those in the US will be looking towards AT&T or T-Mobile for coverage and the handset includes support for the following bands;

UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA/HSPA+/HSPA+42 (WCDMA 850/900/1700/1900/2100MHz) and GSM/EDGE (850/900/1800/1900MHz)
