The popular Chinese smartphone manufacturer Oppo released a pretty impressive smartphone back in December in the Find 5, but we’ve been patiently waiting for it to arrive for other regions. Starting today the Oppo Find 5 has made its way to European shelves, and it is also available from their online store for those interested in the device.

Sadly this device will probably never be commercially available in the states, but we’re hopeful that manufacturers such as them and CoolPad will soon start selling here. In the meantime, those in Europe can get this flagship 1080p smartphone for a pretty fair price.

The Oppo Find 5 will run you €399 with 16GB of storage or €429 for 32GB, and is available in both midnight black and a white color option. We were able to get our hands all over it last month and came away quite impressed. Offering a 5-inch 1920 x 1080p HD display that looked great, stunning build quality, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and even a 13 megapixel camera. It’s Oppo’s competition to the GALAXY S 4, essentially.

Other specs include the Qualcomm S4 Pro 1.5 GHz quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM, NFC, and a large 2,500 mAh battery for all day usage. Not bad specs given the price. Right? It also comes right out of the box with a screen protector to cover up and protect that beautiful display, so don’t for get that. More details can be found from the link below.

  1. I actually prefer having buttons on the side of modern, large screened phones. The idea of having the power button on top is fine for a device the size of an iPhone, but when you are taking about devices with 5+ inch displays, it is rather awkward to reach all the way to the top of the device to press the power button.
