Opera Mini 5 Beta Now Available For Android

The most popular mobile browser in the world has finally made its way to Android. This version 5 seems to be light years ahead of the version 4 which has been available for quite some time.

This version now offers tabbed browsing, there is a bar at the bottom that shows you the number of tabs that you have open and when you click on it a mini view of the page appears. This browser for most will replace the stock browser.

Some of the other big new features:

* Speed Dial: Gives you one-touch access to 9 of your favorite sites.
* Password Manager
* Opera Link: Syncs your bookmarks (and Speed Dial) between your handset and your desktop (be it that you’re running Opera on your desktop, that is)

The only two problems I’ve found so far is the browser doesnt recognize my existing bookmarks and there’s no Flash integration. So if you have a Flash capable phone, I would play with this but stick to the stock browser.

    Multi touch doesn't work. I'll stick with Dolphin thanks.

    lack of multitouch is a big nono. I found that page rendering on sites like AC don't look as nice as stock or dolphin browser.

    I don't like the lack of multi touch either, might try it again when it's out of beta if there is multi touch.

    I think the lack of multitouch is because opera 10 mobile for winmo is multitouch opera mini is not,I think this is the main problem here this this is the freeware version of opera name opera mini

    personally, i dont care one bit bout the lack of mt, its stupid fast but some pages dont load correctly.

    The problem dj this is for opera the free version opera mini is not as fast as the full version opera 10,no multitouch and not good rendering

    full version is way better
