OnePlus, the phone company bent on disrupting the industry status quo, has confirmed their launch plans. The previous rumor of their OnePlus One device launching in 16 places around the globe is/was accurate, as they’ll bring the device to the world stage via a simultaneous launch. The company also noted pricing, which could be as interesting as availability.

The device will launch in 16 territories around the world, including the US (Alaska and Hawaii included!). Sending out individual Google+ posts for each territory (in the native tongue, which is a nice touch), OnePlus also changed their page header on the social site to reflect the availability. In addition to the US, the following countries or regions will see the OnePlus One:

  • Austria
  • Belgium
  • Canada (via US website)
  • Denmark
  • Finland
  • France
  • Germany
  • Hong Kong
  • Italy
  • Netherlands
  • Portugal
  • Spain
  • Sweden
  • Taiwan
  • United Kingdom

OnePlus also confirmed pricing, saying their One will be available for “under $400” here in the states. OnePlus also noted European pricing, where the device will run €350, or £290. The launch is set for next week, April 23.

OnePlus has created quite a buzz with their One. With a Snapdragon 801, 3GB RAM, and a 13MP Sony camera along with a custom Cyanogen version of Android, it promises to be desirable — the price point only makes it much more attractive. To learn more, bookmark our OnePlus tag and come back often!
