We all know NVIDIA’s SHIELD game-console that is powered by Android will allow you to enjoy tons of Android games like never before on mobile. Racing Asphalt 8, or shooting and causing explosive mayhem in Grand Theft Auto. Today though, NVIDIA brings us a completely different set of explosions with their own version of an teardown video.

The NVIDIA SHIELD, for those that don’t know, features their very own quad-core Tegra 4 processor. Along with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, and a 5-inch 720p display and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean all built into a dedicated game controller. Making it a nice little Android game console.

We’ve talked about it plenty in the past and are big fans, and you can see our review right here, but below is a fun video where they tear the device down using some unorthodox methods. Instead of the usual iFixit teardown with high-res photos and tons of details, we have this irreverent video. At least NVIDIA has a great sense of humor, right?

So there you have it. If you were wondering what all was inside the SHIELD game controller and console, that slow-mo video of it exploding into tiny pieces should have offered plenty of details. As a reminder, SHIELD is $299 and plays hundreds of games from the Google Play Store. Not to mention streams even higher quality games right from Steam and your Geforce enabled desktop PC. More details on SHIELD can be found from our timeline below.
