Do you love programs from BBC? Do you live in England? Do you have a Shield TV box? Do you like streaming videos to your TV box? If you answer yes to all these questions, then this app is for you. NVIDIA, with permission from BBC of course has released a BBC iPlayer app that will allow users to stream content from the popular channel straight (well, kinda straight) to their Shield TV.

Now this app targets a very specific audience, so don’t expect it to be mass marketed or anything, but if you do meet the “criteria” above, then you might want to know a little bit more about the app. Basically it lets you stream content produced by BBC for its iPlayer app. The iPlayer app lets UK residents watch any of the content produced by the network through their mobile devices. But this time around, you can stream the same content to your Shield TV through this NVIDIA app.

You’ll be able to watch live TV, as well as all the content from the past 30 days (sorry then, no bingewatching on shows like EastEnders for you). You will also be able to browse categories and different channels, both for news/documentaries/reality-based shows and scripted shows.

You can download the NVIDIA BBC iPlayer app from the Google Play Store for free of course. Just make sure you meet all the criteria mentioned above to be able to enjoy this app.
