NVIDIA is making some huge strides in the mobile scene as of late. With their first fully powered smartphone in the ZTE Mimosa X and more. Today they’ve officially announced that they will be working and partnered with some of the biggest lead suppliers of 4G LTE cellular silicone solutions. This will allow current and next-gen 4G LTE devices to come to market faster — all powered by the NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor.

Today they’ve announced large groups such as Renesas Mobile, GCT Semiconductor and more all partnered with NVIDIA for a joint development effort of LTE modems and Tegra 3 mobile processors. Like we mentioned above, this will enable current and future OEM partners to quickly and easily take their NVIDIA Tegra 3 products to the next level by adding 4G LTE to the product. And in a fast time frame to the market.

This will help push the mobile market to a higher level in all aspects. From mobile gaming, multiplayer gaming, HD video streaming and more. Having a winning combination of a Tegra 3 quad-core with blazing fast 4G LTE will make for the ultimate mobile experience, and NVIDIA will lead the charge. This change will also allow those that don’t want just a WiFi device, but a full on mobile device to have ultimate power at the same time.

I have a feeling not only will we see multiple Tegra 3 quad-core smartphones at Mobile World Congress, but we’ll also see some connected tablets too.
