Alexa is slowly easing its way into our hearts lives by being integrated with a number of products and services. Amazon has got a winner in this voice assistant that first arrived with only the Echo. Alexa has began working with other smart home products like the August Home door lock, Wink products, Nest Learning Thermostat, Triby, Pebble Core, and some devices from Logitech Harmony.

This week, we learned that another brand will take advantage of the technology. Nucleus Anywhere will soon feature Alexa and give the old school intercom technology a modern wist. What you’ll get is an 8-inch tablet connected to a home network, ideal for video chats and audio calls. Feel free to ask Alexa on the Nucleus Anywhere just about anything under the sun.

Alexa enabled on the Nucleus Anywhere makes the device more powerful than ever. It can tell you the latest news, events around you, weather forecast, and stream music among others. Just like Alexa in other products, you can request for it to play your favorite tunes from TuneIn, iHeartRadio, and Amazon Prime Music.

A Nucleus Anywhere costs $249 but you can get two for $199 each. This is more like the “intercom” of today. Inter-home communications can be faster and more efficient with Nucleus Anywhere and having Alexa is great. Unfortunately, some smart home features like unlocking a door or change the light settings isn’t possible.
