Notion Ink has been offering little glimpses and tidbits about its coming tablet called the Adam II for a while now. Back in November of 2012, the company offered up a blurry teaser image of the tablet but not much in the way of specifications. If you’re curious about exactly what the Adam II will have under the hood, specifications for the tablet have now surfaced.

One of the more interesting things about the Adam 2 is that it has a secondary black and white display on one side. The secondary screen is an LCD unit and is designed to allow users to easily read incoming notifications without having to activate the color screen. Presumably, that will help increase battery life.

Speaking of battery life, Notion Ink claims that the Adam II can go for 10 hours per battery charge. The battery packs in 6000 mAh the power. The tablet has a 10.1-inch main screen with a resolution of 1280 x 800. The display uses IPS technology.

The processor heart of the tablet is a 1.5 GHz ARM Cortex-A9 dual-core processor. The tablet runs Android 4.2.2 for the operating system and has 1 GB of RAM. The tablet also boasts front and rear cameras with both featuring two-megapixel resolution.

The tablet also has integrated Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and an HDMI output. A couple of key items about the tablet remain unknown. Previous rumors had pegged the price at $220 for the tablet, but other rumors suggests that price is incorrect. The actual price for the tablet has yet to be confirmed and the launch date is still a mystery.
