They may be a little late to the mobile shopping party, but Nike has finally released an Android app that will let you browse through their whole catalog, shop for stuff that you want to buy, and enjoy special treats and extra content that you can get only through the app. And of course, you’ll do it in digital style. The Nike Tech Book app is now available for Android devices through the Google Play Store.

The app is not just a flat catalogue where you will be able to see all their products. It is actually more of an interactive experience, with different views of a certain pair of shoes that you like, or videos showing off the product or behind the design and technology stories. So basically, it’s like a lookbook but just for Nike products. Having all of these on a dedicated app is definitely more convenient and easier to browse if you’re on a mobile device, than having to go to a browser to do all that.

Aside from just shopping, you also get exclusive content, like features on Nike’s top athlete/celebrity endorsers, like Maria Sharapova wearing and using her Nike products. You will also get first access to seasonal exclusives from the brand before everyone else gets their hands on them.

You can download the Nike Tech Book from the Google Play Store for free. However, it is just available for Android users in the US market only. No announcement yet if there will be a worldwide release later on.
