Samsung Galaxy Tab S2

A new Galaxy Tab S is coming. We’re almost sure of that especially after all the tips, rumors, and certifications we’ve sighted. We even said the new Galaxy Tab S2 will even be thinner than the iPad Air which is already very thin. If true, then we’ll have some paper-light tablet running Android Lollipop.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 is also believed to have a new 4:3 aspect ratio. It’s going to be a high-end tablet and four variants will be available: WiFi and WiFi + LTE of the Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 and 9.7. All these tablets are expected to be unveiled in June and will be available in major markets like Korea, Hong Kong, India, China, Canada, US, Latin America, and Europe.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 will feature a metal body. Inside, we’ll find a Super AMOLED display (8-inch and 9.7-inch), 2048 x 1536 pixel resolution, 3GB RAM, 32GB built-in memory, 64-bit Exynos processor, microSD card slot, 8MP main camera, 2.1MP rear-facing camera, and Android 5.0.2 Lollipop. The LTE versions will use the Cat. 6 LTE (300Mbps) modem by Samsung.

As for the dimensions, the 9.7-inch model measures 237.1 × 168.8 × 5.4 mm while the 8-incher is 198.2 × 134.5 × 5.4 mm. Both Galaxy Tab S2’s will be light at 260 grams and 407 grams only.

The Galaxy Tab S is popular for being so lightweight, its slim design, and stunning performance. This latest model will be lighter, slimmer, and better so imagine how fast the premium tablet will be. We’ll know once the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 is unveiled next month.
