Google unveiled the new Nexus 7 during their ‘breakfast’ event yesterday and while they were pretty forthcoming with details of a US release, there wasn’t much said for those in the UK. With that in mind, it looks like some UK-based retailers have begun listing the tablet for pre-order. There are a few listings available at this time, however while the pricing appears consistent the same cannot be said for the shipping dates.

Anyway, so far listings have turned up with Ebuyer, Currys and PC World. The price appears set at £199.99 for the 16GB model and £239.99 for the 32GB model. The first of those three retailers is showing an availability date of August 29th, however the latter two have it listed as being September 13th. That being said, while the price seems set it looks like we still need the official word from Google on when the Nexus 7 will begin shipping in the UK market.

Another UK retailer that is often on the forefront of device announcements has yet to say anything in detail. That retailer is Clove and so far they have only said that “UK pricing is yet to be revealed but should be available soon.” Of course, regardless of which of these dates hold true — one thing that is certain is about how the UK market has a month or a month and a half wait as compared to the US market.

So far there hasn’t been any mention of the LTE model heading to the UK. Then again, with little release details for that model in the US still, that comes with a bit less in terms of a surprise. So far Google has only said the LTE model was coming soon.

This refreshed Nexus 7 is still sporting a 7-inch form factor, however it will arrive with a much nicer display as compared to the original. The tablet will arrive with a 1920 x 1200 resolution and a 323 ppi. Other specs include 16GB or 32GB of internal storage, 2GB of RAM and a quad-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor with Adreno 320 graphics.
