Samsung has already announced one new tablet today called the Galaxy 3. Undoubtedly, this one new tablet announced today isn’t the only device Samsung plans to launch this year. Rumors also surfaced today hinting at three additional tablets that Samsung will be rolling out in 2013.

One of the three new tablets tipped in the leak includes the Galaxy Tab 8.0. As the name of the tablet suggests, it will feature an eight-inch screen. The rumor claims that screen will use AMOLED technology and offer full HD resolution.

The rumor also claims that the tablet will feature a quad-core ARM A9 Exynos 4412 processor and an undisclosed amount of RAM. The tablet is also tipped to include a five-megapixel rear camera. The second new product included in the rumor is the Galaxy 11. The screen is indicated to use Super PLS TFT technology with an undisclosed resolution.

The tablet is also said to feature an ARM Cortex A15 processor along with the eight-megapixel camera. The third of the new tablets included in the rumor is a variant of that Galaxy 11 called the Nexus 11. The Nexus 11 is said to be the same as the Galaxy 11 with one notable exception. The Nexus 11 is tipped to include the octocore Exynos processor from the Galaxy S 4.

  1. Hmmm… I’d probably still buy the Nexus 11. But I was hoping the next Nexus would have a Snapdragon 800 or Tegra 4 for better graphical performance. What I’ve read on the gpu with the Octa is not so impressive.

  2. Another new model that launches in May and available through a site called TabletSprint is the new Icoo 12GT – an 11.6″ Android tablet model for $329, that features a
    Retina-quality 1920 x 1080 IPS Screen, an impressive Quad-Core A31 Allwinner
chipset with a Powergraphics SGX544MP GPU, 2GB RAM, and 16GB memory; Along with WiFi, Bluetooth, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, 5 MegaPixel Front and Rear Cameras, a
standard USB 2.0 Port, MicroSD Memory Card slot, and HDMI 1080p.

While obviously not as powerful as the anticipated Nexus 11, the Icoo 12GT model offers an impressive price for a tablet that is nearly 12 inches in size, and features a speedy processor and a high resolution, Retina-quality display – with a touchscreen that’s also large enough for a multi-user experience – ideal for families, as well as for education and business use.
