During last year’s Mobile World Congress and IFA event, we saw the Lenovo Vibe S1 being shown off. At this year’s CES in Las Vegas, Lenovo once again is showing off the new Vibe S1 Lite that is obviously a new variant of the Vibe S1. The latter is said to receive Marshmallow this April.

This time, we have the Vibe S1 Lite that runs Android 5.1 Lollipop and boasts of a 64-bit MTK 6753 octa-core 1.3GHz processor, 5-inch IPS Full HD screen, 1920 X 1080 resolution, 440ppi, 8 megapixel front camera with Sony sensor, 13MP rear camera, 2GB RAM, 16GB built-in storage, microSD card slot, 4G LTE connectivity, and a 2700mAh embedded battery. You can choose between the Pearl White or Midnight Blue version.

Making this smartphone a winner is the powerful front-facing cam that produces high quality images, thanks to the selfie flash and the Sony image sensor used. The 13MP main camera is also made even better with the PDAF and the dual LED CCT rear flash.

The phone’s battery is enough for it to last several hours of audio and video playback or streaming. It’s ready for multitasking and more content to be saved and shared. The metal frame and the curved back make the device strong yet comfortable when held.

The Lenovo Vibe S1 Lite will retail for only $199 but it unfortunately, it won’t be available in the United States. Only those countries currently selling Lenovo devices will receive the new smartphone.
