One of the most reliable inbox apps not only for Android but also iOS is the Boxer Email. The program that reached Android last year now offers easy access to major email services like Gmail, Yahoo, Office365, and Exchange among others. Can we make it even better? Of course, any app can still be improved and adding Calendar to the Boxer will make it more productive than ever.

Your calendar within your email can be a great mobile solution especially for busy persons who are always on-the-go. Google has similar solutions but Boxer Email developers boast that theirs is faster and more reliable. The inbox and calender are more integrated now for a smoother exchange all the time.

The idea is to easily access one’s calendar when an invitation goes to your inbox. No need to go out of the inbox app to access calendar because the latter is already integrated. Switching apps may take some time even if just for a few seconds but eliminating that can definitely be helpful and convenient. The faster you can do a task, no matter how menial or trivial it is, the better.

Boxer Calendar’s calendar sync support for Yahoo and Gmail will be available soon but app is now ready for Activesync for Exchange, Outlook, and your local calendar. The Boxer group has started working with other partners for them to use and test the Boxer Calendar app and so far, feedback has been positive. The app is described to have impressive design and functionality.

One of Boxer’s major partners is Cyanogen who will be using the Boxer Calendar app as default calendar on future Cyanogen OS-powered devices. This development isn’t surprising because the Cyanogen OS 12 earlier picked up the Boxer Email app.
