The official name of the upcoming Motorola tablet has been unknown for quite some time. We now know that it will be called the Motorola DROID Xoom and we will be seeing it unveiled at CES next week.

It will definitely be running Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) but, surprisingly, it will not be equipped to utilize Verizon’s 4G network. This will definitely be the tablet standard as we move on into 2011.

What do you think? Is DROID XOOM better than Thunderbolt or Everest? Let us know in the comment section below!
