Motorola Moto X China

Lenovo‘s acquisition of Motorola Mobility from Google is finally complete. This means Lenovo can now do almost anything with the company including announce and release the latest Moto smartphones in any market. The parent company is bringing Motorola back in China especially since it is an emerging market when it comes to mobile device usage. Three new Moto devices will be arriving in China very soon: the Moto X, Moto X Pro, and the Moto G 4G LTE.

Motorola believes that the brand will do well when it returns to China since the number of smartphone users in the country are rapidly increasing. Consumers in the country will be given new choices once the new Moto Android phones are available.

Let’s take a look at the Moto phones coming to China:

Moto X. This Android smartphone will be available next month. It’s said to be one of the best Android-powered handsets in the market today. The 2nd-gen Moto X is stylish with its metal frame. You can choose either a genuine Horween leather or FSC certified wood back cover. It boasts a 5.2-inch HD display screen, Corning Gorilla Glass 3, 1920 x 1080 resolution, front-facing speakers, front-facing camera with flash, 13 megapixel main camera, 16GB or 32GB storage capacity, Adreno 330 GPU , 2.5GHz, Snapdragon 801 processor, 2GB RAM, and a 2300 mAh battery. The Moto X is highly customizable at Moto Maker.

Moto G. This one features a curved design that will fit comfortably in the hand of the user. It features 4G LTE connectivity so you can connect to the Internet anytime, anywhere and with impressive speed and performance. Specs include a 5-inch display, Corning Gorilla Glass 3, stereo sound, 1.2 GHz quad-coreQualcomm Snapdragon CPU, 450 MHz Adreno 305 GPU, 1GB RAM, 8GB built-in storage, microSD card slot, 8MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, 720p HD Video capture, Bluetooth 4.0, and WiFi. Moto X Pro. This sounds like a new model but it’s just  a repackaged Nexus 6. It runs the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop and comes equipped with a 6-inch Quad HD display screen, 13 megapixel camera, optical image stabilization, 2.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, 2MP front camera, 32GB or 64GB storage capacity, stereo speakers, 3220mAh battery, and some sensors (GPS, accelerometer, magnetometer, barometer, ambient light sensor, and gyroscope).

Lenovo-Motorola is excited to start selling these three new Android smartphones to Chinese consumers. More choices for those in China are always good. Let’s see how many units will be sold.
