The AT&T Motorola Olympus may be revealed next week at CES 2011. It will most likely be powered by a 1GHz dual core NVIDIA Tegra 2 and even run Android 2.3 Gingerbread. At the press conference we may find out if the hardware in the Olympus can compete with the future LG Star, a phone sporting an HDMI out, both front and rear facing cameras, and 1080p video playback- not to mention the dual core Tegra 2.

It is rumored that the Star will run an unaltered version of Android whereas the Olympus will probably be skinned with Motoblur. I definitely foresee the Olympus having exemplary specs and I’m sure we will be reviewing a few surprises as coverage continues on this device.

  • Just in the little bit of research I’ve been doing this morning, it looks like all of the most recent “leaks” on the LG Star show some kind of “skin” on the GUI. Hope it’s not true, since I prefer the stock Android experience.
