The Motorola Droid 3 is finally available in stores starting today. The MOTODEV site also announced today that it will also be headed to Canada, known as the XT860 4G. Don’t let the 4G term in there make you all that angry, it wont be the same 4G LTE as many Verizon phones but it will have 4G HSPA+ while the Verizon Droid 3 only has 3G, but that is another story altogether.

We aren’t sure why Motorola has removed the Milestone name we have previously known, or if XT860 is just an internal name. We do know that it will feature the same specs with that TI OMAP 4 dual-core processor, 4″ qHD 540×960 res display and that gnarly 5 row QWERTY keyboard.

For more details you can read all our info in the Droid 3 Portal. We also got the Verizon Droid 3 in today and have done a hands-on and unbox for you all to enjoy. More details have yet to emerge but it will run with Android 2.3 and be headed to Bell Canada sometime this summer and possibly others.
