This seems to be an ongoing occurrence with Motorola manufactured, Android-based handsets heading to Verizon. We get plenty of leaked information regarding the upcoming device, but Verizon is still as tight-lipped as ever. While we’ve already seen the Droid 2 Global name pop up in the Android Market, thanks to VZ Navigator, and we watched as the original Droid 2’s price dropped to just $149.99, there’s still nothing officially from Verizon. But, here’s another leaked document, this time the specifications sheet for the device, as it compares to the Samsung Fascinate, the iPhone 4, and the Droid Incredible.

First thing at the top is the processor. While the other handsets are touting their pretty much now standard 1GHz processors, the Droid 2 Global features a 1.2GHz processor. That’s right in line with what we’ve heard in the past, so you can’t color us surprised. As far as color options go, you’ll be able to pick from either Winter White or Dark Sapphire. For reference, the original Droid 2 comes in Dark Sapphire.

Still no word as to when the Droid 2 Global might actually get officially announced, but it’s looking more and more like Verizon is getting ready to launch the device any day now. Considering there’s other features, like the 8GB of on board storage plus the 8GB of memory included in the microSD card, along with the fact it runs Android 2.2 with full Flash Player 10 support, there’s at least a few people out there eagerly anticipating this world phone. Are you one of them?
