Motorola DEFY and LG Optimus T Offered Up for Cheap by Walmart

The Motorola DEFY and the LG Optimus T are launching on T-Mobile November 3rd, but that’s not stopping Walmart from going ahead and pricing the devices on their own. And, as you could have probably guessed, it looks like Walmart is ready to sell them for pretty cheap. Some may even say dirt cheap, especially when it comes to the LG Optimus T.

According to a leak of a pricing document, which will go up for everyone else to see beginning November 3rd, the Motorola DEFY is the higher priced of the two devices. However, with its price tag of only $48.88, if you agree to pay the $10 or $30 per month for a data plan, it’s significantly lower than the $99 you’d have to pay with T-Mobile proper.

As for the LG Optimus T, it’s almost ridiculous how much Walmart is asking their customers to pay. For just $.97, you’ll be able to take the latest LG-branded Android phone home. Considering T-Mobile was asking only $29.99, we didn’t think it could actually get much better than that. But, spending less than one dollar to get a new phone seems like a good deal to us.
