Motorola announced today the Citrus along with the Droid Pro for Verizon. This is an entry level phone that will most likely run Android 2.1 OS and Blur Skin. It’s not the next high end device that everyone would have liked to see, but it’s not necessarily all that bad, either. There’s a lot of information still missing though, even if Verizon has officially announced it.

This phone also looks as if it will feature Bing as well. The phone has a 3-inch touch screen with multi touch also. Not much else is known about the phone, but more info will be available soon. As with the Droid Pro, Verizon has come clean on all the details, which you can read in detail in the press release below. But, here’s the main take-away: a curved design, a touchpanel on the back of the device that Motorola is calling the BACKTRACK, and it is confirmed that the device will be pre-loaded with Bing services. You’ll be able to customize 7 home screens. Unfortunately, there’s no word on how big the screen actually is. As for pricing and release date, Verizon says the Citrus will be available in the fourth quarter of 2010, and pricing will be announced closer to the launch.
