US Cellular began accepting pre-orders for the Moto X back in early-August. Those pre-orders went live without anything solid in terms of a shipping date, however that good news has arrived today. US Cellular has announced the Moto X pre-order period has come to an end. The handset is available online as of today and will arrive in retail stores this coming Friday.

The Moto X is priced at $124.99 or $199.99 for the 16GB model. The $124.99 price point applies to new customers as well as current customers looking to add a new line of service. the $199.99 price point is for current customers that are looking to upgrade on a regular renewal period. That said, all price points assume a two-year agreement.

US Cellular has also shown the “original price” as $699.99, however at present there isn’t any option to choose the Moto X as a prepaid device. US Cellular has the Moto X available in Woven White and Woven Black. So far nothing from US Cellular in terms of when (or if) the handsets will be available through MotoMaker.

The Moto X will bring the expected features to include 4G LTE connectivity along with a 4.7-inch 720p display, dual-core 1.7GHz processor, 2GB of RAM and a 10 megapixel rear-facing camera.

Otherwise, we have spent some time with the Moto X and as such, we have both an hands-on post and also an everything you need to know style post that should help to answer most, if not all of your Moto X related questions.
