If you’re planning to buy either a Moto 360 or a Sony Smartwatch 3 from the Google Store, sorry but the two wearables are no longer available. No official announcement has been made by Google or the device makers yet but we’re guessing they will be replaced by new models. The Mobile World Congress is just around the corner which means there might be new smartwatches to be unveiled by Motorola and Sony.

It’s probably the reason since a new edition of the Sony Smartwatch 3 was announced around this time and showcased at the MWC 2015 in Barcelona. What’s ironic is that the Camera Remote Control app was recently updated to work with the Sony SmartWatch 3 so it can take pics remotely. As for the Moto 360, we’re guessing another updated version as well.

If you may remember, the Moto 360 Sport variant was just made available in the US online while the basic Moto 360 was given several discounts already. Beginning last week and until February 16, you can get the Moto 360 with metal band and get the leather band for free just in time for Valentines. The smartwatch is always being compared to the Huawei Watch because they are both round.

One of its notable accomplishments is the fact that it’s the first Android Wear device in China. We were impressed with it during a hands-on but were puzzled as to why the flat tire is still there.

The Sony Smartwatch 3 was announced in 2014 so it’s about time that it gets a newer version. Sony only released a stainless steel edition last year so we’re hoping the Smartwatch 4 will be unveiled soon.
