The upcoming Samsung phablet is always on the spotlight. It’s not even formally announced yet and we’ve got pages of rumors, leaks, speculations, and teasers already. This month started with the front panel extra holes and the protective cases being leaked. Today, we’ve got another set of renders that give us an idea about the new Note 7. For one, there will really be a curved edge screen.

We’re almost sure there won’t be a flat variant because all images now show the curved display. On the back you will see the camera and probably a flash. Up front is possibly the iris scanner, camera, flash, and earpiece.

The Note 7 design will remind you of the Note 5. Actually, it’s a typical Samsung phone that looks similar to a number of other models. We’ve been hearing about the new S-Pen but the unit here appears to have the same placement and mechanism of the S-pen. At the bottom, you will notice the microphone, speaker grill, 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port. Checking out the sides of the device, there’s the SIM card tray.

Thinking about it, this looks like the phone from a previous leak:

So far, here’s what we know about the new ‘7’ device: it will have Exynos 8893 or S821, 6GB RAM, and a 3600 mAh battery.

  1. I really don’t care about getting USB type c. It will make all the regular cords I have useless and will have to stock up on these now. But I’m sure there is a reason as to why they are going to be the new charging cords.
