HTC is still on a roll. After the news of an HTC One X9 hitting TENAA a month ago, we’re expecting that this model will be announced very soon as another set of image renders were recently leaked online. As usual, this leak comes from China so it’s somewhat believable. Not much details have been shared but the photos really look legit.

The handset doesn’t look any different from the HTC One X9 that was spotted on the Chinese FCC’s website. What we have now are more images from different angles although there doesn’t seem to be anything new or remarkable.

So far, we know that the HTC One X9 features a 5.5-inch IPS display with 1920 × 1080 pixel resolution (Full HD), 2GB RAM, 16GB on-board storage, 2.2GHz quad-core processor, 13MP main camera, 5MP front-facing selfie shooter, microSD card for storage expansion, and a 3000 mAh battery. Smartphone is said to only run Android 5.0.2 Lollipop out of the box. Dimensions listed on TENAA are 174 grams (weight) and 153.2 × 75.9 ×7.99 mm (size).

We’re assuming this one is a mid-range phone. Still no clue when this will be released but we’re hoping during the first quarter of 2016. Hopefully, this model will help the company to boost sales. You see, any new product now by the brand can help bring in more profits. However, it can also make it worse–we’re thinking about the possible loss.

This HTC One X9 together with the other devices and the yet-to-be available HTC One A9 can definitely boost sales. We’re still curious if the company is still working on an HTC One M10 but before that one, we have the One A9 as another ray of hope. We’ll see.
