One of the great things about the Android platform is that you can tweak the look and the UI whichever way you want it, and you have a lot of apps to choose from to help you with that. When it comes to icon packs, one of those apps is Moonshine and the latest update, version 2.0 brings you even more choices when it comes to making your app icons look the way you want them to.

The most obvious difference in this new version is that their dashboard now looks very Material Design-y, because of course everyone else is adapting to the visual guidelines suggested by Google. You still have the core functions of an icon pack, including wallpapers, contact, and even an FAQ section. There are also now 10 new custom wallpapers but even more exciting is that it now has Muzei support as well (that’s one of the best live wallpaper apps, in case you didn’t know).

The update also brings an icon picker that will let you choose which one you want to use. And that will help a lot since there are 150 more new and updated icons to choose from. That means there are now 900 icons in their databank, which brings them just 100 short for their target of 1,000, which they will reach by the end of April. And last but not the least, five new launchers now have Moonshine support. These are Holo, Solo, KK, Atom, and Inspire.

The Moonshine 2.0 update has already been pushed to those who have installed it. And if you haven’t yet, you can download the app for free from the Google Play Store.
